Oh yeah, this actually doesn't take place with my main fc Kitten, it uses an actually uses a character that IS me.
It was strange, but then of coarse, how could it have not been?
I was sitting there staring at someone who I had always thought to be a fictional character. OH, not to mention that I was no longer human but now the same thing that I’ve always drawn. So yeah, it was strange, weird, bizarre even, but it happened.
I was staring at a teenage mobian fox. Orangeish yellow with two tails, his brilliant blue eyes examined mine. It was Miles “Tails” Prower, the same as from the video games and comics I so obsessively read. Yet, surprised as I was, I still debated screaming at his figure or running over to glomp him, because, after all, he was my favourite Sonic character. It was then that I realized that there was more than one set of eyes staring at me.
I looked around. Now I saw that Sonic, Knuckles and few other characters I didn’t recognize were all leering at me from about the… well, cave actually. We were located in large cave lit up dully by glowing crystals embedded in the cave walls.
For some reason, I noted, the atmosphere seemed very tense. I looked back up at Tails, for he was the closest one to me. He was hunched over, almost as if he was ready for a fight. His position was mimicked by everyone in the space.
I stared at them, until my eyes stopped on Knuckles who was glaring at me with the utmost fury in his eyes. His fists were clenched so tightly, that even in the dim light, I could see his knuckles under his gloves. He lumbered forward and I scooted backwards, out of fear.
Luckily, Sonic put out his hand to stop him and said, “Wait Knux. Poor girl’s scared to wits end and I don’t think your lovely attitude is going to help.”
Knuckles turned his head enough to give him a murderous glance, then huffed off to a purple haired echidna in the back of the cave. Sonic then nodded at Tails who nodded back and then walked up to me. He crouched down by my feat and smiled reassuringly. “Hey, why don’t we get you out of here, huh?”
He offered me his hand and, after a bit of consideration, I took it. His hand was big and warm but I didn’t take too much time to admire this fact. As I looked down at my hand in his I screamed.
“OHMYGOD!!!” I screamed, examining my hands.
“What? What’s wrong?” Tails asked, obviously confused as to why I was screaming at my hands. Why? Well, they were no longer their normal pale flesh tone but in stead a soft orange fur covered them, and what I assumed, the rest of my body.
Although I wished for a mirror I maked due with touching my face. It was different. Rounder with whiskers coming off either cheek. My hands moved up my head until I found my ears, pointed, and cat like, on top of my head. I craned my neck to see behind me and, sure enough, there was a tail. Crooked, like it was broken in two places, but, as it twitched with my unbelieving anxiety, it worked fine.
“I’m… I’m a Mobian!” I cried out, pitifully and hopelessly overwhelmed by what happened. Then I started crying and, even through my half shut, bleary eyes, I could see an exchanging of glanced throughout the space.
“Wait? Haven’t you always been mobian?”
